Paradox Interactive and Tectonic Studio shared the next gameplay trailer for their upcoming simulation game Life by You.

The new trailer is dedicated to one of the most common aspects of the game in the Sims style – satisfying human needs, including sleep, food, communication, visiting the toilet and much more.

Life by You will be released in Steam and Epic Games Store for PC September 12. The development of the game is led by the General Director of the Rod Humble, whom you can know from the work on the franchise The Sims and Second Life.

Two perceptions are fighting in me. The developers with their design of furniture want to bring the game to reality closer? (I don’t remember the name of the Sims type game for adults, there the furniture design is very similar). And at the same time, when the character opens the refrigerator, I see drawn pictures of products, like a booths on the desktop. At the same time, the character, in my subjective opinion, less realistic attributes to the same furniture.

Therefore, depending on all the videos, I do not understand how to perceive this game. If we take, that this is still SIMS from paradoxes, then conventions are forgiven. But if we take that this is the same SIMS for adults only from paradoxes, then I feel the game has a bad future. For now they obviously have not completely chosen a specific style.

Either it will be something third, where obviously video playing cartoon (conditionally) men walk in a more real look of the world.

Cattle in Sims looked great, but here is an incomprehensible hyperrealism that looks clumsy, especially against the background of the character. Perhaps they will finish who knows

As for me, Paralives looks more interesting, but there is no news about this game for a long time. And the emphasis on realism seems to me here not appropriate. Sims still looks good precisely thanks to a cartoon schedule.

Well, yes, the game is old. I still waited for the 3rd part, I thought it would come out, but they forgot about.
